Sunflowers of 2019 / Girasoles del 2019

Summer is coming to an end, and before it's over I tried to capture it in some photos of the sunflowers I planted this year. They made us humans happy with their beauty, and I think the bees can't complain either. The one in the second image is of the variety "Mammoth Russian", and although it was the largest of all, being in a pot it didn't reach the huge size that you can see in some online photos. It was interesting to see how the varieties differ in color, size and form of the petals, and the center.

El verano se acerca a su fin, pero antes de que se acabe quise capturarlo en algunas fotos de los girasoles que sembré este año, que nos alegraron a humanos con su belleza y a las abejas con su néctar y polen. El de la segunda foto es de la variedad "Mammoth Russian", que aunque era el más grande de todos, creo que al estar en una maceta no se acercó en tamaño a los de algunas fotos que se pueden encontrar en Internet. Es interesante ver las diferencias de las variedades en los colores, tamaño y forma de los pétalos y el centro.
