Last October I wrote about the wonderful elder tree and its properties. Now in late spring is the time when the elder is fully in bloom, its fragrance everywhere. I thought I'd update that post by sharing some images of the flowering elder, and of my process of making elderflower syrup. It's a task that I love, as it gives me much pleasure to pick and prepare these lovely flowers.
